Web store software
Our website is developed with WordPress software and WordPress plugins. By default, WordPress does not collect personal data about visitors, only the data that is shown in the screen with the user profile of registered users. Web hosting TransIP
We purchase web hosting and e-mail services from TransIP. Personal data that you make available to us for the benefit of our services will be shared with this party. TransIP has access to your data to provide us (technical) support and processes personal data on our behalf and does not use your data for its own purposes. TransIP can, however, collect metadata about the use of the services. These are not personal data. TransIP is obliged to take appropriate security measures on the basis of the agreement we have concluded with them. These security measures consist of the application of SSL encryption, a strong password policy and two factor authentication. Backups are made regularly to prevent data loss.
What information do we collect?
When you are subscribed to our newsletter, have requested a download, completed a contact form, made a purchase or made other requests for one of our products and / or services, you will be asked to fill in your details. We only process the data that you provide to us yourself.

The data is collected and stored for the following purposes:
We use your first name and email address to send commercial newsletters. We only do this with the data that we have obtained by downloading free documents and not with data that have been received via our contact or quotation forms. Your first name, e-mail address and telephone number that you enter in a request for quotation and contact form are used to make a quotation and / or to reply to the contact request. We store this information in Mailchimp and will send you a one-time email here asking for permission to comply with the GDPR Act. With no permission, this data will be deleted at the end of each month. This is also indicated on the relevant forms.

If you are subscribed to our newsletter, have requested a download, have filled in a contact form or have made a purchase and do not want to receive an email from us in the future, you can unsubscribe at any time using the ‘unsubsribe’ link at the bottom of the email or by contacting us. Your email address will be immediately removed from our database and will not be saved.

We use the data provided by you to process orders as quickly and easily. We will not sell and / or provide your information to third parties. Your data will only be made available to third parties if they are involved in the execution of your order.
When paying in the Be Baby webshop, you are always referred to the website of a so-called Payment Processor, Multisafepay, for the transaction by means of a secure connection.
We use the MultiSafepay platform to handle (part of) the payments in our webshop. We also use SumUp for Pin payments. MultiSafepay processes your name, address and residence details and your payment details such as your bank account or credit card number. MultiSafepay has taken appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your personal data. MultiSafepay reserves the right to use your data to further improve the service and to share (anonymised) data with third parties. All the above guarantees with regard to the protection of your personal data also apply to the parts of MultiSafepay’s services for which they engage third parties. MultiSafepay does not store your data longer than is permitted by the legal terms.
Your payment details (credit card number, Paypal login or Ideal details are not passed on to our servers and are therefore not stored by Be Baby.
The only data we store is:
- First and last name. To deliver your order to the right person.
- Address, zip code and city. We use this address for the correct delivery of your order.
- Phone number . If we want to inform you about your order or if you want to pass on changed information about the products you have ordered at the last moment, we will also do this by telephone at certain times. This is never mandatory to fill in.
- E-mail address. With every order you will receive a confirmation and invoice from us as soon as we have received your order. If it is an order that is sent, PostNL (and / or MyParcel) will send an email on our behalf with the track & trace code.
- IP number. Your IP address is stored when you place your order to recognize abuse when paying.
If you start a transaction and it is not completed, your transaction data (name, address, e-mail and IP) will be removed from our server at the end of this month.
Shipping by PostNL via Myparcel
When you place an order with us, it is our job to have your order delivered to you. For the delivery of all our orders, we use the services of PostNL via Myparcel. It is therefore necessary that we share your name, address and residence details with PostNL. PostNL uses this information only for the purpose of executing the agreement. In the event that PostNL engages subcontractors, PostNL will also make your data available to these parties.
